Explain how form relates to function in own work

The form of my work is to make a book the size a room, and cover the pages with photographs taken by me of the cycle of a plant from seed all the way through to the plant dying and then back to seed again. The function of the large book is so that people all of ages will be able to move the pages of the book to reveal more images, that very in colour and shape, as well as the large boom of photographs, the walls around the book with be covered with photographs as well, if it is possible I want to be able to have a dark room that contains images taken by me with tranquil noises and sounds of nature playing in the background while the slideshow of images play through.
