Show how materials and technology inform ideas development
The technology that would be used to create what is needed for my exhibition, are a projector, the reason for a projector is that I will be able to display the pictures that have been taken by me for people to sit down to be able to watch the slideshow, consequently the more elderly people who are unable to move the pages of the large book will be able to watch the pictures in the book projected on to the wall/screen.
Another component of technology that is need for my exhibition is a printer, although it won't be in the exhibition, it will be need to print my pictures off to be put in to the large book. The printer will have to be a big special printer that will be able to print the image possible A0 if not bigger. The materials that would be needed for my exhibition are paper, which is the most important and vital piece of the exhibition, as it will hold the images taken by me.
Also I will need acetate or another plastic that will cover the pages of the book, although I want people to be able touch it and move the pages I want to be able to protect the book and its pages and keep them in pristine condition. Finally maybe some frames with glass front to show off the other images being displayed but keep people from ruining them.
On a more general perspective of technology, for my chosen topic, photography. C
ameras have change a lot on the last 100 plus years, from before 1835 where it took ages to take a picture because they had no choice, nowadays we can now decide how quickly or slowly we take the picture, and we view the image straight away, where before them you had to wait to see to see if the picture was ok, and with the cameras now we can delete an image
and take another one right after the other, where back all those years ago you had to wait days if nor week for one picture to develop.
Also images these days can be editing using special software to change the appearance of an image whereas you couldn’t change anything back all those years ago because nothing had really been invented yet to be able to do that.
